A democracy is a form of government in which the people (civilians, clan members) vote who is to be leader. Whomever has the most votes, becomes the leader. Democracies can be done a variety of different ways including a total democracy, representative democracy, and limited democracy. While most clans and unions start off as a dictatorship or monarchy, eventually, as the need for control and civilian appreciation grows, they shift into a democratic form of government. Democracy is not without flaws though it is likely one of the best types of clan governments that is available. In democracy, lies, rogue voting, and using multiple accounts becomes a larger issue.

Total DemocracyEdit

A total democracy is one in which, the people vote in a leader who then has total power over the clan and all decisions. This can be dangerous because the leader with total power may not truly have what he promised, or the civilians intents in mind.

Representative DemocracyEdit

A Representative Democracy is used by many unions and its basis is this- each clan votes in a leader or representative who then participates in the government with all the other clan leaders. These clan leaders all make decisions together in a large council.

Limited DemocracyEdit

Limited Democracies generally involve multiple bodies of government such as a judicial system, a representative system, and then a set "leader". This can be done many different ways but a constitution or writing text should be put in place to explain the system and the laws of it. Bodies of government (sometimes referred to as branches) can include- Legislative (law making), Judicial (justice, courts), Executive (top power), Regulatory (guarding against other branches), defense (military and protection).
